#108254 - DSO is the only way to go
Responding to: ???'s previous message

For me (working with microcontrollers and programmable logic), there's a lot of value in the advanced triggering and storage capabilities of a digital scope. I like being able to capture a rare transient event, and zoom in.

today (as opposed to years go) I'll say: no storage = no scope

The signals you can see on a non-storage scope are often those you can "see" without a scope. The real criteria for a good scope these days is: can you clearly see a short pulse that occur once only.

Erik

Well, I tried to get this point across, but Erik said it clearer and better. Consider nothing less than a DSO.
