it is a known fact that many USB to 232 converters are problematic in ISP. I guess it could be the autobaud (fast turnaround).
I can see the problem with a cheaply made USB to 232 converter USB is half duplex and 232 is full duplex, if the converter rely on the USb channel being fast enough (no buffering) problems will, most likely occur. These problems have been reported using Atmel, Philips, SILabs. Erik |
