I went to the website you posted and downloaded Code Architect--but I'm not seeing anything specific for SPI/MAX3110? This appears to be similar to SiLabs Configuration tool in that is is used to generate register specific code. Or am I missing something?

I think as far as handling SPI via the F065 SPI registers I'm OK--but was hoping for real driver for the part that could be easily adapted to the F065 derivative.
