As in this project the ferrite core and it's characteristics are not very important , using such an edited ferrite is not so harmfull , about the price the final Tool won't be priced more than $15 (USD).and other problem is there that probably those sensors are not available here , and if i decide to buy them overseas it would cost me much more than <$10 per unit for my low quantities.
Ferrites are very brittle, I'd not even dream about cutting one. Sure, but i'll take care and try to use a suitable cutting tool for my purpose, some losses shouldn't be much important. |
