Re program or code The terms "Source Code", "Object Code", "Machine Code", etc are all widely accepted. Therefore I don't see any problem in calling Source Code, well - "Code!!"
Be explicit. I think it will be much more important to specify "source code" or "source program" then to care about the use of "code" or "program".

After all, I think there has been much confusion when someone posted "code" and got replies based on the belief that is was source when, in fact, it was object. I can not see a possibility of "object program" getting a response related to source code.

anyhow re "source code" vs "source program": one would make you a coder, the other a programmer what would you prefer? :)
