I have no doubt that some things can be more efficient in assembly than in C, but lets look at reality. I looked at a chip and doubling the flash size cost $0.20
let's say you want to make 1000 units. the added cost for the bigger chip will be $200 now I challenge you to find an engineer that will convert your C to assembler for $200 |
