it may "Look impressive" to an Arghmel fan, but to call an Arghmel only prodct '51" is false advertising Jim Granville said:
Who is Arghmel, If a "pet name" is an affectionate name for someone/something you like, what is the "anti" term for a contemptuous name for someone/something you dis-like? Anyhow, as already noted, Arghmel is Erik's "anti pet name" for Atmel. Jim Granville said:
and what is only prodct '51" ??
You're imagining the hyphen in the wrong place. He meant, "to call an Arghmel-only prodct '51' is false advertising" In other words, the product should be called "TurboAtmel Studio" - rather than "Turbo51 Studio". Anyhow, I rather suspect that Emarcadero probably still have claims on the name "Turbo Pascal", and Atmel themselves on "Atmel Studio"... |
