#188028 - timer expansion Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Brilliant suggestion Michael. Exactly what I need for my current project. I wasn't sure about triggering the interrupts till you mentioned that.
project using AT89LP6440 bass pedal organ system with 5 harmonic drawbars like a Hammond. 5 Drawbars- slider pots read by the A/D. Each drawbar controls gain of a certain frequency, relative to the key being played. For example, while playing a lo C bass note, the drawbars would add (going up in freq) CGCEGC. The 3 C notes are 1st, 2nd, 3rd harmonics. The uP could produce 5 sinewaves simultaneously, using 5 different timers and your timer expansion idea, then MAC them together internally setting the gain of each with the slider. The output would then come from the single onboard dac. Should work. |
