Why you feel a need to justify 5.1 kohm terminating resistance?
You do know what the termination is used for, don't you? So the question to ask is - how is your 5.1 kohm resistor selected in relation to the specific cable you are using? Randomly, or you really do have a cable with 5.1 kohm characteristic impedance? |
