#185911 - more than one way to skin a cat Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I, for one, do not like having to support and maintain the boot loader separately from my application program
I, for one, always have had the bootloader separate from my application program. The background is "the bootloader NEVER changes". Should the defecation hit the rotary oscillator (this has not happened) you will need to run to the customers with a JTAG cable. I do not know if Michaels model allow for bootloader changes, if so, there definitely is a safety feature there. Another model, that I am currently working with, allow the app to change the bootloader and the bootloader to change the app. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Erik |
