He means that depending on what electret microphone you use, you will get different amplification in the circuit.
Remember that the sensitivity of the microphone affects how much amplification you need - but your selected microphone may not have a suitable sensitivity compared to the resulting amplification in the circuit. So you may have to experiment with different microphones until you find a balance. |
