response: So I am surprised by your 'buffer' comments. well, I'm not. as the OP has chosen a derivative with "classic" ports, buffering will be needed in many cases. I do suggest to the OP that he, next time, choose a derivative with configurable ports and avoid the problem. The choice of a derivative will, often, for a beginner (in '51) be "random", since the knowledge of dramatic differences the myriad of variants have is not a typical "first go" fact. Erik |
