#184781 - RE: #184777 - Resolution/precision
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Per,

Resolution and precision are not the same. 12-bits gives me a "range" of about ~4000 counts, precision is a totally different story all together.

In my case, this analog output is intended as EITHER a speed signal to a AC driver (Inverter) OR a position signal on some AC drives that control the opening/closing of dampers on ducts. A few counts +/- do not make much of a difference due to mechanical linkage. Hence the loose precision.

Regards,
Zeeshan
