#182250 - SILabs reset Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The SiLabs eval board that is part of the transmitter end of the project also has an R/C reset and that is working OK for this type of project.
A frequently repeated post on the SILabs forum is "remove the cap on reset". This is a consensus of the forum regulars. The SILabs chips actually have a very good supervisor and a long time ago (the Cygnal days) some well meaning fool decided to add a "noise suppression cap" which, while possibly removing somebodys noise, converted an excellent supervisor into a RC reset. Just check the "schematic" in the datasheet and you'll see. Erik |
