#181279 - Programming STC 8051 microcontroller in linux |
Hello
I'm planning to develop a project with STC 8051 microcontroller with SDCC 51. I bought some chips and get a free USB ISP tool for their website and download software. The problem is STC doesn't provide softwares for linux. It must be very unconfortable to compile in linux and download it in Windows. Is there any way to solve this problem? My though is to install a windows emulator in Linux (Wine etc.). Will that works OK for ISP softwares? the STC software uses USB. Actually it is a USB to UART converter. Thanks Ray |
