#180600 - Thanks found it Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've read the datasheet 20 times and for the first time today I saw the section for Flash. Me and my cursed eyes.
I figured that the space was shared with code so I wasn't exactly sure where I could write. I guess its best to work from the top of the flash space down. I'm using Keil uv4 for programming, I'm not sure where the option is to restrict code data from exceeding an address, can anyone help out in that respect? PS - yes Im writing 6 bytes over 20 locations in the scratchpad, one at a time, non continuously, and erase the page once its reached the page limit size. Based on my understanding, this will increase it's Flash life span versus writing over a single location repeatedly. Is my logic flawed in this respect? Should I maybe use the larger sector of Flash for this implementation? |
