It works perfectly well ... with or without 22pf xtal caps.
there has been several posts abut the shitty oscillator in this chip. You may want to find them. I believe you have an oscillator problem. You should not have an oscilolator that "works perfectly well ... with or without 22pf xtal caps". just one thought: you DO have the traces to xtal and burden caps ultrashort? the oscillator starts at wrong frequency. I havr not measured freq., but buzzer-beeps are longer, and it stops communicating on 232 these symptoms could be "wrong frequency" or WD resets till you actually measure the oscillator freq anything is just guesses Erik |
