Judging by your questions you are trying to develop a critical system to some SIL level or to standard 61508. The simplest solution is to use a microcontroller with a WDT and a supply monitor chip with an integral WDT. This is a very flexible a cost effective solution that complies with the requirements in the standards for independence. |
