It's hateful because the official documentation is incomplete, the developer's kit is full of holes and contradictory, the eval kit firmware is also contradictory, and TI has pawned off support to a 3rd party called Indesign who are not interested in supporting the device. Oh, yeah, in these days of built-in JTAG debug, etc, the 1020B has no zero debug support. OK, there are hooks to connect a Nohau or other emulator, but then you lose the ports. And who the hell wants to spend five grand on a Nohau anyways? Sucky, sucky part. -a |
