AFAIK you can run anything on an Android once its been jail-broken.
Steve First time I come across that term. Well that is the object of the exercise, to run a program that needs to be written. Where will I find Android development tools on a budget? Does it not depend on the processor used? I have seen the Navigon 1400 GPS, looks fabulous with a 3 1/2 inch touch screen, SD slot, USB, Arm processor and cheap. I am not sure if the USB is a master. It runs WinCE and needs to be hacked (Jail-broken?) to get to the operating system. That scares me, I don't want to have a brick instead of a console. Where will I find the information to program this beastie? I think phone screens are on the small side. N900? I don't know it. Thank you for the replies Johan Smit |
