#177148 - Connecting AT89S52 to a 2.85v signal |
Hi:
I am doing a project in which I need to connect an Globalsat ET332 GPS module to an AT89S52. According to the GPS module datasheet, the serial data output level is ttl compatible and output is 0 ~ 2.85V. According to the AT89S52, Vih (Input High Level) is 1.9v. Is there any way to connect them without using an active level converter? Can you tell me how the circuit should be? Also, the datasheet says that Logical 0 Input current (when the voltage in a pin is pulled to 0.45v) should be less than -50uA. I don't get how that should happen if there is an internal pullup. Thanks, Gonzalo |
