1) FLIP will (if your serial circuitry is working) do all you need, no need for parallel programming.
2) NO ISP will program an external flash 3) the state of !EA can not be changed, it is latched at reset I've constructed a parallel programmer based on an application note from Atmel and have successfully read the signature bytes. I doubt that one is for the RD2, there is no such thing as a 'general' parallel programmer, not even for chips from the same manufacturer. Erik |
