#176787 - Master/Slave setup; How to use IAP |
I'm trying to use a master slave configuration with a P89LV51RD2FBC and a P89LPC932BDH.
I want to use IAP for the two of them, and there will probably be a third processor soon (P89LPC938), and I have yet been able to figure out a convienent way to get them all connected so that I can program them through IAP. My first thought is to use the master cpu to do all the slave programmings, but I'm not quite sure if this would work. Basically, once the master is programmed I could then send a command to it that would tell the processor that the following IAP instructions were for x processor. My issue is that I will probably be using FlashMagic and I won't have a way to send any special commands before the programming. Which means that if I approach it this way, I will have to write all the programming code myself (which I have found pieces of here and there). So does anyone have any recommendations to a Master/Slave configurations as to how I could still do IAP? Or, is there a more practical way of doing this sort of thing? TIA |
