I am guessing that you are using regular DIP40 chips.
So develop your program and do the debugging with your AT89S52. Obviously you must avoid the S52 features and stick with bog-standard 8051 type programs. The development cycle is much simpler! Then all you have to do is burn the finished HEX file into the AT89C51 chips. Either by asking a kind neighbour, or making your own programmer if you like that sort of thing. The kind neighbour will be quite happy if you send him the chips, the hex file and a stamped jiffy bag to post them back to you. David. |
