#175778 - details Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Our client as this heavy machine and is too big for sales to drag around to potential clients or trade shows. So we developed a special 3D GUI that makes this machine virtual (written in Flex - working) and it communicates with a virtual serial port (written in C++ - working). So we need to develop an emulator that would load up the HEX 8051 code and run it. Peripherals would need to be emulated as well such as I2C. Ideally someone would create a dll for us and we would pass messages to that dll from and to the virtual serial port. I think ICE is for in circuit emulator? We looked at things like JSIM and other products out there, these are what we want but it's beyond our abilities. We are comfortable with C/C++ and protocols but 8051 is something we don't have the time to learn.
