Today more and more development is made "the same" (or even worse 'abstracted') as shown in the desire expressed in http://www.8052.com/forumchat/read/175089 .
The more things are made the same the less it will be 'cool' to familiarize yourself with the specific before starting with a new processor. I can not say that this is the case here, but this thread and the linked appearing at the same time made me think of the above. Erik |
