I will definitely have a look at PCA Cookbook. And as always, I prefer to do it on my own, rather than a pre-cooked solution. Because, you can judge, if anything goes wrong, then there is no "Grey" area left in your product. Jan Waclawek said:

Yes, the UART can be used to have a higher priority than the other interrupt. |
