#174153 - Challenge??
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Andy Questioned and said:
Or do you want this to be a particular "challenge" to your students?

Chris:
If this is the intention to challenge the students then you may want to re-consider the message being given to them. When your students get out in industry it is to be hoped that they develop a healthy capability to apply the correct technology to the problem at hand. They should even be trying to doing this even though the pointy haired boss says "You will use this and that set of components". A boat load of components may sometimes look like it makes sense to shoe horn them into every development you have going at a company but there is often much larger life cycle cost involved with doing this.
