I mean, once I have all 8 lines wired up - and I do as this is how Craig Steiner designed the 8052.com SBC demos and I naturally wanted to try these demos on my 8052.com SBC - there is little reason to ignore the "extra" 4 wires or cut them out for that matter... ;-) Of course if somebody would like to wire this up from scratch, it is easier to wire only the 4 bit bus - anybody is free to modify the sources accordingly, I tried to keep them modular. I am even willing to do the modifications myself, would somebody promise to try it. Jan |
