What you mean is here, I think: http://www.8052.com/forum/read/170226 A random bit stream, on the other hand, can be generated by this: The flip-flop makes, that "0"s and "1"s are produced equally often, when observed over a long period of time. Wait at least 10msec between the readings of flip-flop, though, to allow enough random togglings. The longer you wait, the less probable it will be to read two identical bits in a row caused by the absence of togglings. Kai Klaas |
