#171728 - Monostable multivibrator or watchdog
Responding to: ???'s previous message
You would need a delay, such as from a monostable multivibrator, where a short processor pin action triggs a longer reset signal activation. But if wasting time and components on such a solution, you might look at an external watchdog chip, capable of additional support. Or select a processor with internal watchdog.
