for the reply's!
My tought was to use a tiny micro as both i2c slave and serial MUX. I am however afraid that it will ruin serial timing. Michael had me read the 4052 datasheet once more, and I discovered that this device is not only analog. It's also a digital MUX. I also like what he writes about having a single large variable, that you can update and have a timer int clock it out without having to worry. I agree with Richards CPLD/parallel toughts. I like CPLD's and have done this kind of things before, but since my main micro is a 28 pin LPC936 there isn't pins to do it with. Right now I ended up with two equal micro's tied together via i2c, and a '4052 for the switching. - comments still apreachiated! have a nice weekend! Per |
