In what way is it inconclusive? This is not really a case for "raw C": you need to prepare data directly in registers, you need to make a call a specific address, and you need to ensure that the (key part of) routine lies above 2000h. None of these is really a task for C, although some dialects of '51 C can be forced to do part of these; nevertheless I see that as a bad idea. Time for inline assembler and in-depth study of the linking process. JW |
