Having the reads follow the writes is true for a push-pull output. But it is also true for a classic port in quasi-bidirectional mode if no external hardware pulls the signal low.
It is only when exernal hardware is trying to contend with the 8051 that it will matter if the 8051 has push-pull drive or not. |
