#170593 - That obviously depends
Responding to: ???'s previous message
That is obviously something for the user to consider, based on the precision and bandwidth specified in the datasheet. The datasheet also notes a 25mV offset drift during lifetime, which may - or may not - require correction depending on requirements and type of current and knowledge if the current will regularly be disconnected or not.

This sensor - like many others - can most definitely be used for measuring RMS. But - as always - with a limited measurement quality.

In this case, the requirements has to be known before it is meaningful to check if the datasheet has enough information to decide if the sensor can be used.

                     True..            01/01/70 00:00
Linearith errors often less problem than bw for RMS            01/01/70 00:00
