#169816 - it's "programming-free display"... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
... not "programming [a] free display" :-(
But I would be curious what the prices and availability (samples) are. A couple of months ago I was playing with a similar one (instead of ARM9, this contains an AVR, an Atmel Dataflash, and an Epson (?not quite sure, been some time) videocontroller - that one provides most of the horsepower). On one hand it provides a certain level of comfort, on the other it imposes certain limitations. It definitively does not remove the need for some programming - unless the application is completely trivial (I wish I have to do such one day). And this particular one was not cheap either. And, definitively, the design (graphics, ergonomy, logic) work must be done, too - this is something we the technical folks like to forget. JW |
