Using the one-clocker's auto-increment eliminates the inc instruction, which speeds things up considerably, in addition to which it reduces the code-space consumption by nearly half. Further, the one-clocker can add some speed, if it is useful to do that. If it isn't, then the speed-power product can be reduced by slowing the clock down to 1/12 or maybe 1/10 the original rate.
