Few questions from page 263-265 of the amazing book "The 8051/8052 Microcontroller"
1. In routine "SPI_SendByte" which line drives SS low to select SPI slave device? 2. It seems like that after executing the routine "SPI_SendByte" the accumulator will hold 8 bits of information read from the slave. Is my understanding correct? 3. If the answer to question 2 is "Yes", then why in section 20.2.2 "Read Byte" code the line LCALL SPI_ReadByte necessary? Thank you very much |
