#168437 - Moderator: Forum borked - don't just close duplicate threads |
Don't know who the moderator is, but don't just close threads as "Another thread already exists on this topic" without checking if the original thread is possible to use.
Note that this forum currently is borked. If the OP do make new posts to a thread that has been locked with "Thread will re-open when original poster replies", the thread will stay locked. This has been seen several times the last couple of months. Now both the following threads are locked: http://www.8052.com/forum/thread/168409 http://www.8052.com/forum/thread/168426 Exactly what is the OP expected to do? Creating yet another thread that will be locked? Post new messages in the first thread, that we will not be able to post responses to? |
