I have downloaded sample code of "Connecting I2C RTC (DS1307) with AT89S52" from:

But struggle to convert it to work with ADuC845. I have received this on the PC's terminal:

Day : Nov
Time : FF:FF:FF
Data : FF-å$
øæ"0x
äuð
Ù_ -20FF

Note that in the code from download package (from the above link), I change SDA by MDO and SCL by MCO (MDO & MCO are 2 bits of I2CCON of ADuC845).

I am still working out.

Do you have any suggestion?
