Note that your 8.8kHz sampling can catch the signal at any phase. How will your lookup tables handle that? Also remember that the 1200Hz and 2200Hz are not exact, since they are intended to be generated by analog circuitry and not from a crystal-operated hardware. So even if you know the phase of one of your samples, the other three samples may drift.
