That's a really cheap board that offers lots of options. It comes with a monitor, but if you fiddle with the board configuration, and add ULTRAMON51, it will do a lot of things very handily without an ICE. I have several ICE's and haven't used one in years, because I find the debug-monitors I have for the various MCU's quite adequate. It's a matter of budget and pesonal preference, I guess. RE |
