The pluses an minuses of a software delay loop aside. LINT say hey this code does nothing, That is exactly what he wanted it to do. So he can disable the error, add a not to lint (-lint) telling it to ignore the error, ignore the warning, or rewrite the code (and I am not saying he shoud).
