Hi

1. I am using the Easy Downloader V2.1 for programming my 89C52
2. EZ Uploader V3.1 running on my windows Xp Laptop
3. Since its a newer laptop, does not have a serial port.
4. Purchased and connected a standard USB to serial port converter
5. 20 out of 25 times, everything works fine, but sometimes my windows suddenly crashes with blue screen

6. I have tried this with 2 other different brand laptops and same trouble.

Has anyone experienced such a thing with the EZ Uploader ? If not, may be the driver software for my USB-Serial converter has some bugs.
