I wonder if it matters. I would think that the Day indicator would just run sequentially and repeatedly, that is, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 1, 2, ... The only thing I would test is whether the first digit is 0 or 1, by setting the day to 6 and seeing whether it changes to 7 or 0.

It is your interpretation of the number that gives it value:

1=Mon
2=Tue
3=Wed
4=Thu
5=Fri
6=Sat
7=Sun
1=Mon

or


1=Thu
2=Fri
3=Sat
4=Sun
5=Mon
6=Tue
7=Wed
1=Thu
