There are documented methods for creating a schematic symbol and PCB package outline. I've had to build many OrCAD symbols over the years.
It's all described in the manuals. I have no idea what a CM8870 is, though. It's quite possible that there are other part numbers that correspond to this part. When you just drop a part number without a manufacturer name or device description, it's not likely anyone can help you. Have you looked for MT8870, the also obsolete MITEL equivalent? Have you searched the libraries? The CM8870 is in my v9.2 library in MISC3.OLB. RE |
