Hi all,
I've been doing some research to determine the feasibility of a project that I've been thinking about. Right now I'm looking for a way to be able to count confirmed fax page transmissions and receptions on an 8051. My idea is that I might be able to passively monitor a phone line with a fax modem and listen for the conformation of each page as it sent or received. I don't have any experience with fax modems so I may be way off. My question is does this idea seem feasible and if so can someone recommend a reasonably cheap fax modem that I could use to accomplish this. -thanks Hai When we sent fax the transmission handled with fax/modem protocols. Sent 1 page similiar with sent 2 or more pages...only time pulse counted. "2 or more pages means 1 only transmission" Thank's Jeckson Ben |
