That is correct - it is the Linker's job to do this (strictly, the Locator - but BL51 is a combined Linker-Locator)

And what, exactly, was the result?

May I ask you how to make the code which switches to bootrom located
above 2000h?

As instructed, you need to use the appropriate Linker-Locator settings.

You're not using the free evaluation version, are you...?
