#163684 - P89LPC93x - clock and reset |
Hello Forum
I plan to use LPC 935 or 936 for a device one of our customers requested. I have a few questions: Is the internal clock oscillator reliable, or is it preferred to use an external x-tal or oscillator? Similar, is the internal reset reliable to use for low speeds, as stated in the data sheet, or is it beneficial to ad an external supervisor? And finally, is there any caveats with IAP/ISP when using the internal oscillator and reset? My end goal is of course to have a circuit as simple and cheap as possible, without sacrificing quality. I am not making toys or funny gadgets; errors could cause real problems - on the other hand I am not building satellites or weapon control systems. Any comments apraciated! -og ha' en god weekend!
