Microcontrollers - especially small, simple ones like the 8051 - do not have such resource. That is why any embedded USB host support is going to be a lot more limited - unless your "embedded system" has comparable resources to a PC. So, what are you actually trying to achieve here? Where does the 8051 fit into it? If you're trying to build an embedded PC, it will almost certainly be cheaper and easier to buy an embedded PC module... |
